Great track from Entre Nous..a true story telling song..Enjoy it! 

"Long Time" appears on Cake's sixth full length studio album, Showroom Of Compassion, released in January 2011. What I love about this song is the syncopated background vocals that are intermitten- no other instrument could bring the same effect. The lyrics are simple, yet tell a story that can be interpreted differently depending on the listener.

If it's one thing I love about this band's music is the lyrics - Vivid story telling through a song.  Released in July 2009.

Those who came and went, and those who are still around. It's a raw concept of the reality of what family really is and the time we have on earth with them.

This Jamaican dancehall artist is the bee knees in Jamaica. I was there for a week and would ask everyone who their favorite artist was...90% of the people I asked there said VYBZ Kartel. I chose this track "Clarks" because in the beginning he says "wa a gwan popcaan" which is the only Jamaican Patois I will ever understand...it means "what's up, popcorn"...if you look up the lyrics to this song …

"Parachute" was originally written by Ingrid Michaelson and Marshall Altman but released by Europe's pop sensation Cheryl Cole in 2009. Ingrid just released the song this year herself and the two versions are wildly different. Cheryl's version has the "big pop" sound with electronic sounding instruments, pumped with auto-tune in the vocals.
