The Banks Of The Ohio

{summary}

OK, I love Ropeadope - fact. But this one floored me. This song has been done by Johnny Cash, Townes Van Zandt, and Doc Watson among others. And I like this version the BEST. Why, beacuse Clay plays on the natural happy rhythm of the song and keeps it a LOVE song all the way. No self pity or historical grandstanding - just a plain old happy love song ( about killing your lover ). And he finishes it off with a funeral march, new orleans style. Look up the covers, and email me if you disagree. seriously.
