Now in 2008 Black Gold 360 releases a 2nd album "Suite Seventeen"
Continuing the jazz meets electronica theme, for this project Black Gold 360 sees the addition of experienced jazz musicians Coen Kaldeway (sax, flute, bass-clarinet), Bob Roos (drums) & Lucas Dols (bass).Coen Kaldeway appeared on 2 tracks on the Black Gold 360 debut album and leads his own quartet as well as playing with many jazz acts such as Melou, Phinx & Tripartido.
Bob Roos appears on drums for many acts such as Electric Box & Along Came Stan and also famously hosts 2 different jazz sessions in Utrecht that frequently attract big names from the scene.
Lucas Dols from Amsterdam is also a accomplished session man but recently hit the big time as bassist with media darlings Room Eleven.Sixsmith is busy these days, a family man running a record label and a sound studio in Utrecht as well as producing albums for many Dutch & UK artists with former Puha Producer Stevie D , add to that a spot of Jazz Djing and releasing under rotating aliases (such as DJ Fontana) it's a miracle he found time to finish the 2nd Black Gold 360 album. About the Artist

Black Gold 360 is UK producer Simon Sixsmith. Based in Utrecht, Holland; Sixsmith'sl career was born out of the Dutch underground scene of the 1990s. As a DJ, Sixsmith was a founding member of the Puha Hu$tlers who created the now legendary ‘Bloodshot' nights as well various others across Holland such as ‘Paybacks from Waybacks', ‘Nocturnal Funk' & ‘Puha TV'. Sixsmith was also an original member of Electric Puha - a production trio who performed live as a fifteen piece dance band that wooed Holland from 1999 to 2005 releasing the abums ‘Metropolis' & "Sisters in Paradise" as well as 2 Eps and some memorable concerts. In 2004 Sixsmith began the record label Beluga Recordings with fellow Puha producer Stevie D. The label has released over 20 albums with a regular show on Dutch TV showcasing underground music & video talent. With the demise of Electric Puha in 2005, Sixsmith turned his attention towards his twin loves of jazz & electronica.. In 2006, under the name Black Gold 360 he released his first solo album ‘Black Gold 360'. The jazz meets dirty electronica style of the album was well received by the press across Europe. Now in 2008 Black Gold 360 releases a 2nd album "Suite Seventeen"
