this is a classic jazz trio playing it acoustic in the vein of the bad
plus, but the plus here is that it’s not. think Jacob Fred or MMW if
they were a decade or two younger and leaner. Jacob koller (piano) is a
straight up genius who’s been playing classical piano since he was four
and never looked back. Corey Fogel (percussion) has the deepest pocket
I’ve heard since 1999 and Chris Init (bass) is so far in it that he
will take you out into outer bass. really, are you still reading this?
it’s that new jazz shit you’ve been looking for. not that “sort of
jazz” or “jazzy” or even “jazz influenced shit, but the real deal –
real (great) jazz lovingly birthed from the next generation of greats.
