Really not sure what the this music is other than to say that it makes people react hard in one way or another. My sister started to inexplicably beat her dog upon first listening, while my boy Rob Alberino claims the music led him to the virgin Mary. Me? I just like to crank it up and drive far. NMF is a regular four man band from nowhere, Pennsylvania, that got led by the son of Jam Band Guitar Hero, Steven Kimock (it’s good to be the King!). Part rock, part punk, part jazz, part epic ambiance with an edge – this is truly the next generation, and a simple mash up of good music. Oh but to see the band live is when you will arrive – at the conclusion that this just might be your new favorite band.

About the Artist

All three members of New Nadrid Falts were musicians at birth. Matt Molchany was born on the east coast, but quickly became a fixture in the Los Angeles underground music scene after moving there in his early 20’s and producing bands like The Power Cords (Indie-Pop), Tyranis (Psychedelic-Metal), The Fresas (Power Pop), Trio Ellas Son (Mariachi/Hip-Hop), and his own band Gertie Fox who completed 6 national tours playing with bands like The Hugs, Rilo Kiley, Little Brazil, and others.

John Kimock is a self-taught musician raised around a vast array of music. At a young age he participated in ceremonial drumming with the Pomo Indians, as well as Tuvan throat singers. He played some of his first concerts with his father in Zero. He has toured internationally with his father and other acts. In 2007 he recorded Kind Killers Depiction co-written by Angelo Miraglia.

Matt Juknevic was born into a family of musicians. He is a multi-instrumentalist and experimentalist. He founded the Insidious Rays, a surf rock band from Bethlehem, which he has toured with for the past 7 years. Matt has written for independent theater companies and his music has appeared in movies and T.V. shows in Greece as well as a documentary on the North East Kingdom Music Festival.

The band is influenced by friends, lovers and a town in Missouri (New Madrid) that was destroyed in 1812 by an earthquake. This fault line running down Midwestern and southern states has very little, but frequent seismic activity. The tectonic plate predictions show a devastating earthquake every 300-500 yrs. in and around the New Madrid fault lines. Initial tremors have been picked up by early adaptors and keen music fans in sleeper cells across the world.

New Madrid Faults music hits you hard at the right time in your life. It’s the stuff that will give you the balls to go change some shit around that you've been meaning to do for a while.
