About the Artist
The Clamor hails from the birthplace of the U.S., Philadelphia,Pennsylvania. Philadelphia is a place that has spawned manyrevolutionary ideas. The Clamor is one of them. Taking classic threechord garage rock, adding hip-hop heavy beats, some swirling synths, and a penchant for all things pleasing to the ears, The Clamor tiptheir hats to everyone. Everything is open to The Clamor to interpretand leave upon their own distinguished brand.
The individuals who make up The Clamor have been playing together in oneform or another for the last ten years, The Clamor having beenconceived in 2004. All members are multi-instrumentalists, and you maysee them swap instruments occasionally at a live show. Each member ofThe Clamor writes his own songs and sings them well. Robert Hilferty,(guitar, synths, bass, vocals), met his brother Mike, (drums, programming, bass, vocals, beats) when he was born. About thirteenyears later, Mike met Keith Cipriano, (bass, guitar, beats, vocals),and explained to him that if he didn’t start a band with he and hisbrother, Robert would have him “turned in as a traitor and hung.” Keithwas then instructed to recruit a fourth member for the band.
High school proved to be the most abundant source to find potential members and this is where he would meet Pete Bonasch, (guitar, synths, bass, drums, piano, vocals). Keith invited him to listen to them rehearse. When Pete arrived they played an ancient scale that put him into ahypnotic trance. While under, he was convinced by the three that he wason a musical quest, and that they would accompany him on his journey.
In August of '07, a spy named Dan Hager tried unsuccessfully to infiltratethis tight knit unit to find out just how a well oiled machine such asThe Clamor operate. He has now been de-programmed and utilized for hispiano and guitar playing, songwriting, and vocal skills. Now, you areall invited to join them.
