Celebrating 2015 - Big Sam’s Funky Nation

Big Sam Williams blows that horn in true New Orleans style. As a member of the Dirty Dozen Brass Band he’s appeared on Ropeadope before, but this time he jumped in with his new single - FEET ON THE FLOOR. The track is a statement on the lasting power of New Orleans music and people, exactly 10 years after the storm. Look for a new full length LP from the Funky Nation next year, but in the meantime get your party style on right here.

The horns are every bit as dirty as they should be, and the track is a lead off to next year's full length LP. Catch Big Sam and the Nation on tour, read up on the history right here. Does it swing? You KNOW it does.
