next week raekwon  the chef of the Wu-Tang Clan is dropping the much-awaited sequel to his 1995 classic Only Built 4 Cuban Linx a triumph of storytelling, technically proficient rhymes and gritty Shaolin-style production via RZA, Dr. Dre, J. Dilla, Pete Rock, Marly Marl (and more) and rhymes contributed by Slick Rick, Busta Rhymes, The Lox. Ghostface Killah will reprise his role as the secondary rapper on the album, and there will be also be multiple appearances by Wu-Tang stalwarts Method Man, GZA and Inspectah Deck. preview video and sounds here.

true blood continues to blow my mind (and body and soul) every week. and what an honor indeed to have ropeadope represented not once, but twice as key parts of the show. of course we all freaked when power (voodoo version) was featured in episode 2, but holy moly - they named the entire episode 10 after the king britt/sister gertrude morgan song "new world in my view".  more true blood here.
