Waxpoetics is like New York City - if you can make it there, you'll make it anywhere. Ropeadope's Ekundayo makes it to the bigs with this wonderful feature on the band. Who's the Freak Rocker now? We ALWAYS loved Norah Jones here at ropeadope. In fact, we were there when Charlie Hunter "found" her way back in the day and even put her on the Dirty Dozen's Medicated Magic Album with Robert Randolph before "Come Away With Me" sold 20 Million copies!!!  Mrs. Jones never went away but she's back in the spotlight with her REDUNKULOUS new album "Little Broken Hearts" produced by Danger Mouse.   NPR has a first listen right here - highly highly recommended. 

Sonic Mining Company is the latest collaboration from legendary guitarist Reeves Gabrels, prolific bassist Frank Swart   and naughty drummer Adam Abrashoff  who comibine to create seven tracks of complete improvisation exploring the outer boundaries of electric music.
